Our funds
The St. John's United Methodist Church
Foundation is committed to a multi-faceted mission:
- to solicit,
- preserve,
- manage, and
- distribute funds
contributed by supporters of St. John's United
Church of Santa Fe, for the benefit of the church and its
programs. The
foundation is structured to carry out its mission through the
following funds:
- The Program and Education Fund
- To provide continuing support
for specific programs of St. John's United Methodist Church
of Santa Fe.
The Property Fund
For preservation, restoration, and modification
of the buildings and grounds, including the parsonage, owned
or operated by St.
John's
United Methodist Church as designated by the donor.
The Operations
Fund
To provide supplemental monies for the day-to-day operations
of the church and its programs which are ordinarily supported
through pledges, tithes and offerings.
The Outreach Fund
To provide support for programs of the United
Methodist Church at the local, district, conference, national
and
international
levels. Through donor designations, this fund provides
a broad spectrum of support opportunities.
Other Funds
Designated by Donor
Donors may choose to establish special funds
to provide for specific aspects of the church not already covered
by any
of the previous
funds. The names of donors to St. John's UMC Foundation,
unless otherwise requested, will be reported and
appropriately recognized.
