The youth program at St. John's...
continues to provide a place where youth can feel comfortable to be who
they really are as
they pursue a personal relationship with God. In this nurturing
atmosphere and within a framework of youth development, young
people learn to care for each other and for the world beyond
the church walls, all the while laying a strong spiritual foundation
that will serve them well in later life.
As an integral part
of who and what St. John's church is that our Youth continue
taking to heart Paul's advice to his young associate
Timothy, "Don't let anyone look down on you because
you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech,
in life, in love, in faith and in purity" by ministering
to
- the congregation;
- the community;
- each other;
- the nation and the
world.
