Orphans and Palliative Care Donation Information (further
info: jbsavuto@yahoo.com or 972.618.3664) Jesus has called us to help those
who are less fortunate and to share with His Love as our call to mission.
To
support the ministries of Jesus Christ, the United Methodist Church has the
Advance Special Program. Any gift to support the Maua Methodist Hospital
Palliative Care Program or AIDS Orphans Program should be given through
your church by using the Advance Special number. It is then sent to
the mission board and then on to Kenya.
Every dollar you send is sent to the
hospital to support these ministries;
there is no administration cost!
The Palliative Care Program provides antiretroviral drugs to mothers
with AIDS to keep them alive for many years so that they can raise
their families
in
good health.
$26 per month will provide these antiretroviral drugs for
a mother with
AIDS.
Your support check should be written to your UMC church with a note
that says "For Advance Special #09613A – Maua Hospital
Service Fund, Kenya – NOTE:
For Palliative Care"
The AIDS Orphans Program provides three
nutritious meals per day to the Orphans by giving food to their
caretakers, usually their
grandmothers,
who prepare
the meals at home. The ministry also provides uniforms,
shoes, and fees to send the AIDS Orphans to primary school,
and medical
care to the AIDS orphans.
$15 per month feeds and educates a
young AIDS Orphan. Your support check should be written to your UMC
church with a note that says
"

of Love to the world
